FAQs/Help
- It is an online education system with a catalog of over 40 self-paced on-demand courses with a variety of clinical areas such as disaster, pediatrics, case studies, blood therapies, and mental health.
- It is a free member benefit open to any and all staff at your TCAA member hospital, not just trauma team staff. There are no limits to how many of your hospital staff can use our system.
- Follow the step-by-step instructions above. A TCAA website login is required. If you have forgotten your password, please call our office at 704-360-4665 or email info@traumacenters.org and we will reset it for you. If you do not have a login yet, follow the instructions to obtain one.
- If you are already logged into the TCAA website, log in to TCAA Online Education to set up your education account and access the course catalog. You will be
prompted to enter the following information: Your hospital/program name, your profession (physician, PA, nurse practitioner, RN, other), type of credit claiming (CME, CE, Attendance), license number
and state registered in, and address city and state. Note: You have 72 hours to complete setting up your education account, otherwise it will be deleted in the system.
- Video Tutorial
The majority of courses can be taken for CE and CME credits, as well as for attendance credit. The number of credits available are listed with each course.
- Nurse CE: The Trauma Center Association of America is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number 16459
- Physician CME: The Trauma Association of America is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
- Once you complete a course, there will be a button on the completion page to download the certificate. A course completion email with an attached PDF certificate will also be sent to you. You can
also access all course certificates on your learner page on the left menu under Transcripts.
- On-demand courses can be completed at your own pace and will save your progress wherever you left off, until you sign in next time. You will receive reminder emails to complete each course that
you started. Courses must be completed within 30 days of start. Education accounts that have not been accessed within 90 days will be disabled. Please call our office if you need your account
enabled.
- Yes, if you are the Trauma Program Manager, please email, please email info@traumacenters.org, and request to be assigned the coordinator role
for your hospital. This allows you to see your hospital learner accounts as well as their course progress. You can also email your hospital learners within TCAA Online Education to assign
them specific courses.
