TCAA's Annual Conference offers hospital and trauma system administrative professionals a one stop educational conference. In addition to the 2-day annual meeting, pre-conference and post-conference courses are also offered, and cover
trauma operations, including: system development, finance, reimbursement, advocacy, performance improvement and many facets of leadership development. The goal of TCAA's conference is to prepare participants to address the issues confronting
trauma centers and trauma systems, now and in the future.

Definitive Surgical Trauma Care Course™ (DSTC™)
The DSTC™ Course, by IATSIC, is an intensive 2 or 3-day course comprising lectures, interactive case discussions and laboratory based surgical skills training.

Basic Trauma Center Finance and Business Course
The Trauma Center Basic Finance & Business Course will assist healthcare professionals in becoming familiar with costs, charges, and codes related to trauma center reimbursement. The knowledge gained will provide the foundation to
develop and sustain a trauma program. This track will provide basic finance principles, hospital billing cycle, and trauma charges as well as an introduction of the definition and utilization of codes 068x, 450, 208 and FL14 type 5.
Lectures feature reality-based trauma program cases and essential steps in business planning. Upon completion of the in-depth didactic sessions, you will feel confident applying the lessons learned to your trauma program.

Trauma Medical Director Course
The medical leadership skills needed in today’s trauma centers are best gained by sharing the experiences of others. This course is tailored for TMD's to improve operations in their trauma center and exert control over trauma surgical
practices. The faculty will deliver core principles for the leadership and business skills needed to succeed in the challenging healthcare environment. Participants will enjoy a collaborative and case-based learning atmosphere.

The ATMD course curriculum is designed to provide established TMDs with additional skills and explore advanced concepts that can be used to grow their programs. The course includes selected areas of hospital and professional finances,
