Happy New Year! The House returns to Washington Tuesday at 2:00 p.m.; the first votes of the week are expected at 6:30 p.m.
On Wednesday, the chamber will consider eight bills under suspension of the rules, including four bills regarding the expansion of 5G telecommunications systems across the U.S. and around the world “in order to protect U.S. consumers and strengthen our national security and the security of our allies."
On Thursday, the House will consider the PFAS Action Act (H.R. 535) “to clean up communities affected by PFAS contamination and protect Americans from these harmful 'forever' chemicals, which can cause cancer and other serious health problems."




The Senate reconvenes Monday at 3:00 and will resume consideration of the nomination of Jovita Carranza to become administrator of the Small Business Administration. Votes will resume in the chamber at 5:30 p.m.
