Grants Management

HPP Ebola Part B EOY Report: Due September 28, 2018

As described in the HPP Ebola Preparedness and Response Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA), awardees are required to submit an annual end-of-year program progress report 90 days after the end-of-year reporting period and at the end of budget period. The Ebola Part B End-of-Year progress report is due Friday, September 28, 2018. Please make sure that items in the progress report only reflect activities supported by Ebola Part B funding from June15, 2017 through June 14, 2018. Detailed instructions for completing the template and the Excel spreadsheet template were sent to awardees on July 17, 2018. For technical assistance with completing this form, please email both your field project officer and the SHARPER mailbox at SHARPER@hhs.gov. The completed template should be returned to SHARPER@hhs.gov.

CDC Extends Annual Progress Report Deadline to October 12
The opening of the PERFORMS annual progress report module for Budget Period (BP) 1 reporting will be delayed. CDC has extended the deadline to submit the annual progress reports to Friday, October 12, to ensure HPP and PHEP recipients have 60 days to complete and submit their reports.

This tip sheet provides considerations that may assist urgent care centers, health care coalitions, and other partners to engage with and support each other's emergency preparedness activities. It is a supplement to the ASPR TRACIE Medical Surge and the Role of Urgent Care Centers Report and summary document.

ASPR TRACIE Technical Assistance Spotlights: Health Care Facility Active Shooter Drills and Drill Evaluations

ASPR TRACIE receives, on average, over 100 requests for technical assistance (TA) per month. Some of their redacted responses are summarized here and can be found in the Information Exchange to benefit stakeholders. In these weekly reports, ASPR TRACIE will periodically highlight TAs that may be of particular interest to many stakeholders.

DRC Officially Declares End of Ebola Outbreak on July 24, 2018
The Ministry of Health in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) officially declared an end to the country's battle against a ravaging Ebola outbreak, according to the World Health Organization, on Tuesday, July 24, 2018. The government of Congo declared an outbreak of Ebola hemorrhagic fever in May 2018, making it the country's ninth recorded outbreak.According to the Ministry of Health, 54 cases of Ebola virus were recorded during the outbreak, including 33 deaths. The last patient was released after blood-testing negative for the Ebola virus on June 12, 2018.
