Thank you to your hard work in getting signatures for the Congressional Dear Colleague Letter on FY 2017 Trauma Funding.   45 House members signed onto a letter to the Appropriations subcommittee in support of the inclusion of $28 million of implementation funding in the FY 2017 Labor/HHS/Education Appropriations Act. The letter calls for funding for all four trauma and emergency care grants: Trauma Care Center Grants, Trauma Service Availability Grants, Trauma Systems Planning Grants and Regionalization of Emergency Care Pilots. TCAA worked tirelessly with Congress to draft and circulate the letter. Thanks to the leadership of Dr. Burgess (R-TX), Reps. Green (D-TX), Hudson (R-NC) and Rush (D-IL) and the tremendous efforts of the trauma community for galvanizing such broad support.  View the letter and signatures here.
