Thursday, August 9, 2018 – Trauma and Critical Care Conference
Experts will discuss current trends in Trauma and Critical Care of the acutely injured patient all along the treatment continuum, from initial injury to discharge and beyond.

Friday August 10, 2018 – Cadaver & Skills Lab
Expand your skills by learning multiple procedures and interventions for trauma patients during the Cadaver and Skills Lab. Immerse yourself in 18,000 square feet of hands-on training to practice interventions for trauma patients ranging in age groups from pediatrics to geriatrics and anywhere in between.

Colonel Todd E. Rasmussen, MD, FACS, United States Air Force Medical Corps


Following completion of his vascular fellowship in 2001, Col. Rasmussen began caring for the initial combat casualties of the War in Afghanistan at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington DC. In 2004 Col. Rasmussen conducted a wide-ranging vascular injury and hemorrhage control research and technology innovation program during his deployment to Operation Iraqi Freedom – Air Force Theater Hospital – Balad Air Base.
