The National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI) is soliciting grant applications for the support of Centers of Excellence in Ethical, Legal and Social Implications (ELSI) Research (CEERs). The CEER Program is designed to support the establishment of sustainable trans-disciplinary research teams with the expertise and flexibility to anticipate, conduct research on, and quickly address a range of cutting edge ethical, legal, and social issues related to genetics and genomics. This Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA), issued by the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH), seeks to solicit limited applications for continuation of an established research resource consisting of a database of primary reports of the full spectrum of complementary and integrative health controlled clinical trials. HHS: Integrated HIV Surveillance and Prevention Programs for Health Departments

The purpose of this funding opportunity announcement (FOA) is to implement a comprehensive HIV surveillance and prevention program to prevent new HIV infections and achieve viral suppression among persons living with HIV. In particular, the FOA promotes and supports improving health outcomes for persons living with HIV through achieving and sustaining viral suppression, and reducing health-related disparities by using quality, timely, and complete surveillance and program data to guide HIV prevention efforts. This announcement solicits applications for fiscal year (FY) 2018 Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP) Part C Early Intervention Services (EIS) Program: Existing Geographic Service Areas.  The purpose of this program is to provide comprehensive primary health care and support services in an outpatient setting for low income, uninsured, and underinsured people living with HIV (PLWH).  Under this announcement, successful applicants must provide:  (1) targeted HIV counseling and testing; (2) medical evaluation, clinical, and diagnostic services; (3) therapeutic measures for preventing and treating the deterioration of the immune system, and for preventing and treating conditions arising from HIV/AIDS; and (4) referrals to appropriate providers of health care and support services. HHS: Enhancing Public Health Emergency Preparedness and Response Capacities in the Americas

The envisioned ASPR-FUMEC-CENAPRECE collaboration sustains and advances the long-standing relationship between the United States and Mexico aimed at safeguarding each country from public health threats and fulfilling the goals of multiple international frameworks and agreements, including the International Health Regulations (2005) (IHR) (http://www.who.int/ihr/publications/9789241580496/en/). Projects and activities proposed by CENAPRECE for this agreement will combine strategic coordination of public health preparedness and emergency response programs as well as technical collaborations to strengthen the capacities of both countries and the region to prevent, detect, report, and respond to public health emergencies of all types, focusing on pandemic influenza, other emerging infectious diseases, and chemical, biological, and radiological (terrorism) hazards. HHS: Mobile Monitoring of Cognitive Change (U2C)

Funding Opportunity Number: RFA-AG-18-012

This Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) invites applications to design and implement research infrastructure that will enable the monitoring of cognitive abilities and age, state, context, or health condition-related changes in cognitive abilities on mobile devices. This effort will include the development (or support for development) of apps on the Android and iOS platforms, the validation of tests and items to be used on the two leading smartphone platforms in age groups ranging from 20 to 85, and the norming of successfully validated measures to nationally representative U.S. population samples that will also receive gold standard measures, including the NIH Toolbox for Assessment of Behavioral and Neurological Function. A goal of this project is to also support data collection efforts from participants enrolled in projects awarded through this FOA as well as other NIH-funded studies though FY2022, and enable the widespread sharing of both the collected data and the test instruments. HHS: Clinical Research Sites for the Network of Excellence in Neuroscience Clinical Trials (NeuroNEXT sites) (U24)

The purpose of this funding opportunity announcement (FOA), issued by NINDS, is to invite currently awarded NeuroNEXT sites and potential new sites to participate as a Clinical Site in the Network for Excellence in Neuroscience Clinical Trials (NeuroNEXT). The purpose of this cooperative agreement is to improve transparency in the current market by funding the development of an independent, open, online resource (e.g., an interactive website containing crowdsourced and voluntarily submitted data), whose design features and functionality is to be guided by market research to be performed by the recipient on costs frequently associated with health IT interoperability services. The online resource should make it easy for health IT consumers, third-party app developers, and health IT developers to voluntarily contribute cost data and other information about their health IT products and services and list them on the online resource.
